Next Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream Trailer Stars Leafa

Bandai Namco continues to introduce (or in some cases reintroduce) characters we’ll use in Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, and the latest heroine is Leafa. While she wasn’t in-game in the original SAO, Leafa became a recurring ally starting from the adventures in ALfheim Online.

Leafa will be a Support sort of character in the game. She’ll be able to heal the party, as well as use magic and attack. The video begins by calling back to her ALfheim Online routes by showing her fairy elements. After that, we see her using spells and healing in a fight.

You can see how Leafa will work in the Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream trailer below.

Ayana Taketatsu will return to play her in the game. She’s also voiced her in the anime and past titles. She’s also Jessica in Dragon Quest 8, Chiori in Genshin Impact, Frederika in Honkai Impact 3rd, Labrys in Persona 4 Arena, and Nuwa in Shin Megami Tensei V

Here are all the other Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream character reveals that came up ahead of this new Leafa trailer:

This isn’t the only recenttrailer for the game to appear, though the other one focused on a SAO bonus game in the Premium Edition and not one of the playable characters. If someone pick up that version of the game, they also get an additional title called Kirito the Hero. That is a Vampire Survivors-like that involves Kirito picking up different sorts of swords and cutting through hordes of enemies.

Here’s how that looks:

Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream debuts on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on October 4, 2024.
