Next Pokemon Scarlet, Violet 7-Star Tera Raid Is Rillaboom

Nintendo confirmed the new Pokemon that will appear in the next Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 7-Star Tera Raid event will be Rillaboom. Rillaboom will have a Normal Tera Type. The new 7-star raid will first run throughout July 28-31, 2023, and then later reappear throughout August 4-7, 2023.

The new Rillaboom 7-Star Tera Raid will be accessible from black crystals in the overworld of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Rillaboom will come with the Mightiest Mark, and players can only capture it once. However, it will be possible to participate in the raid multiple times to obtain rare items and experience candies.

Rillaboom is a Grass Type Pokemon and one of the three starters introduced in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, the previous mainline title released on the Nintendo Switch. Rillaboom evolves from Thwackey at level 35, and its first form is Grookey. Rillaboom is a drummer gorilla Pokemon with a gentle disposition, and it taps into the power of its special tree stump by using it to playing music.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are immediately available for the Nintendo Switch and the Rillaboom Tera Raid Battle event will run throughout July 28-31, 2023 and August 4-7, 2023. The Teal Mask DLC will appear in Fall 2023, and the Indigo Mask DLC will appear in Winter 2023.
