Square Enix announced that the next collaboration event in NieR Reincarnation will be with Drakengard 3. Zero and Mikhail, the two protagonists from that game, will appear as characters who can fight alongside you within cages. The collaboration event will start on May 8, 2021, which means it will begin on the same day that the current NieR Replicant event ends.
The official NieR Reincarnation Twitter posted a short teaser video showing off how Zero will look and play in-game. In it, she states her intent to kill the other Intoners and end the cursed power of the Flower. The song that plays is “Kuroi Uta,” which was Drakengard 3‘s theme.

There isn’t any news in-game or on NieR Reincarnation’s official website about weapons and other goodies that may appear during the Drakengard 3 collaboration. However, if it is like previous events, players will be able to get exclusive gear and login bonuses during the run. As well, by farming event currency through limited quests, you can purchase Zero and Mikhail. Of course, they will also appear in the gacha for those who wish to test their luck.
Like the past NieR Automata event and the current NieR Replicant collaboration, Drakengard 3 is yet another Yoko Taro game set in the same universe. It originally came out in 2013 in Japan on the PlayStation 3, and its worldwide release was in 2014. Players take control of Zero as she journeys across the land, slaughtering hordes of soldiers on her quest to kill her Intoner sisters. Mikhail takes the helm during flying segments.
NieR Reincarnation is currently available on mobile devices in Japan. However, Square Enix announced last year that a global version is in development. Drakengard 3 is available on the PlayStation 3.
