Aside from the aforementioned new features, it also promised audio descriptions, the ability to change the time of day, and the ability to swap tendril colors. The new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 update will also include more features. However, Insomniac will likely only announce them closer to the official release window. It noted that these new features require further testing for quality control, which is why they won’t come out within the year.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the third entry in Marvel’s Spider-Man video game series on PlayStation, and it chronologically takes place after Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. You can play as both Peter and Miles in this entry. It enjoyed both commercial and critical success. The game sold over 2.5 million copies in the first twenty-four hours of release, making it the fastest-selling first-party PlayStation game. It is also the best-selling PS5 game thus far.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is available on the PS5. There will be a new major update for it sometime in early 2024.
