Next FFXIV Fan Fest Will Fall in May 2021 and Involve FFIV Items

We have a date for the next Final Fantasy XIV event. A FFXIV Fan Fest will be held May 14-15, 2021 in North America. It will be an entirely digital event and free to attend. As you might expect, the new Endwalker expansion will be discussed. However, its schedule will be released closer to the actual event. Square Enix will sell Final Fantasy IV-related items for people to enjoy in-game though, like Minions and a Mount.

The free events all involve things you can watch. So if there are things like announcements, presentations, or panels, those won’t cost a thing. If there ends up being a Primals concert, it also wouldn’t cost anything.

The four announced paid items all callback to FFIV. People will be able to buy Edge, Rosa, and Rydia Minions to use in-game. There will also be a Lunar Whale people can buy.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The FFXIV PS5 beta will begin on April 13, 2021. The new Endwalker expansion will appear on all three platforms in Fall 2021. But before it does, the FFXIV Fan Fest will appear online on May 14-15, 2021.
