Some new Pokemon Nanoblock sets have been announced. It turns out old and new favorites will both be joining the line of tiny building kits. In September 2020. People in Japan will be able to find both the Galarian Ponyta and Lucario kits at that time. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The Pokemon Nanoblock Galarian Ponyta kit will mark the third Galarian variant in the line. Previously, Galarian Farfetch’d and Slowpoke sets were announced. (Those will launch in August 2020 in Japan.) This will be a three out of five-peg difficulty set with 200 building blocks. It will cost 1,300円 (~$12). This is the first time Ponyta will appear in Nanoblock form.
The Lucario set will also be a three out of five-peg difficulty model. However, it will only have 160 blocks in the kit. Its price is listed at 1,100円 (~$10).
Here are pictures of the two sets and their boxes. While an official worldwide release hasn’t been announced yet, it isn’t uncommon to find Pokemon Nanoblock sets in specialty stores or at places like Kinokuniya.
The Galarian Ponyta and Lucario Pokemon Nanoblock sets will arrive in September 2020 in Japan, though they aren’t showing up on the official website just yet. Pokemon Sword and Shield are available for the Nintendo Switch.
