Touhou Doujin Project Coming To PS4 [Update]

Zun, the creator of the Touhou Project, is working with Sony on a PlayStation 4 game. The project was announced during Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference.

The motto for the new Touhou Project is “Touhou fans will make it and grow it, together with PlayStation” and not only will you get to play the Touhou Project titles on PlayStation 4, but there will also be some sort of feature that will let you exhibit or share what you make.

To more specific, the games that will be part of the project are those of doujin makers, and it will also allow fans to make their own games. So it won’t be about ZUN’s work, but rather, the ones made by fans.

 The three titles that will be available to play right off the bat are: Fushigi no Gensokyo 3, The Genius of Sappheiros, and Touhou Sky Arena Matsuri. Touhou and other doujin titles are expected to be released for the project as well.
