New Square Enix Switch and PC Game Is Paranormasight

One of the many February 2023 Nintendo Direct announcements is a new Square Enix game called Paranormasight for the Switch and PC. This is an adventure game that involves investigating haunting urban legends around the Sumida Ward of Tokyo investigating the Seven Mysteries of Honjo. Following its reveal, Square Enix took to its official blog and shared a trailer to offer additional insight into the game.

In Paranormasight, your goal is to help your characters survive while exploring the town with them. The issue is, they’re all cursed and constantly in danger. What you choose to do could save their lives or get them killed. However, each person you’ll control does have an edge. The curses they’re dealing with also give them special abilities. This might help them deal with the legends of The Beckoning Light, The Haunting Clappers, The One-Sided Reed, The Whispering Canal, and the other three mysteries of Honjo.

Here is Square Enix’s new trailer for the Paranormasight Switch and PC game.

Like another horror adventure, Root Letter, Paranormasight was created with an actual location in mind. Square Enix even noted that the Sumida City Tourism Division and other associations in the community worked with the company on this new Switch and PC game. (Shimane Prefecture officials helped with Root Letter.)

Paranormasight will come to the Nintendo Switch and PC.
