Leading up to the opening of the Pokemon Center location in Okinawa, The Pokemon Company has plans to sell commemorative merchandise. The new location will also feature exclusive merchandise that will only be available to purchase at this specific Pokemon Center. However, more information on this will be revealed at a later date.

The Pokemon Center locations serve as immersive experiences, as well as places to purchase Pokemon-related goods. For example, consumers can purchase “wedding-themed” Pikachu plushes at these locations. However, merchandise can also be purchased online.

Additionally, The Pokemon Company has released merchandise outside of these locations. This has included collaborations with brands like Build-a-Bear and UNIQLO to release exclusive items. Previously, consumers could buy t-shirts featuring unique Pokemon designs at UNIQLO.
