Late last year Nintendo of Japan started re-releasing Gamecube games with motion control. On June 11 the Wii de Asobou (aka New Play Control internationally) will take a break when New Play Control: Chibi-Robo and New Play Control: Metroid Prime 2 Echoes come out in Japan.
Details about enhancements other than motion control have not been announced at this time. After Metroid Prime 3 we have a pretty good idea what the Metroid Prime 2 Wii-make will be like.
What about Chibi-Robo? Will Nintendo optimize the controls to simulate a remote control toy? Will motion control be used to simulate floor scrubbing? Either way if you missed the Gamecube version get New Play Control: Chibi-Robo when it comes out here. Chibi-Robo’s charming story and loveable character made it one of the best Gamecube games no one played.
