All versions of Metaphor: ReFantazio will see some minor adjustments after we download the patch from Atlus. But the biggest parts of this update have to do with the main menu. After you install the patch, you’ll be able to change your party members in Metaphor: ReFantazio via the equipment screen. In the past, you had to access the party screen in order to do this. You’ll also be able to jump to different categories when clicking on the item menu. Atlus also fixed a bug that’ll prevent progress after a certain input in the main menu.

PC fixes focus on quality of life complaints and bugs. For example, the patch fixed an issued in which the camera movement will slow down after using the mouse. It also fixed an issue that locks your frame rate after certain inputs.

Metaphor: ReFantazio came out in October 2024 and is a new IP from Atlus. The same creative team that worked on the Persona 3, 4, and 5 developed this game. It was very popular at launch, and received several major nominations in 2024.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. As of the time of writing, Atlus has not yet implemented the patch.
