New Kiki’s Delivery Service Cover Drawn by Spy x Family Artist

The Kiki’s Delivery Service novel series will receive new covers drawn by Spy x Family manga author Tatsuya Endo. This new edition will release to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the publication of the novel series in 2025

The special covers will be available in Japan as part of Fukuinkan Shoten’s new paperback edition of the novel series, which is set to release sequentially from February 3, 2025. The illustrations inside the book, however, will be the original. So far, only the cover art for the first volume has been shown. It features Kiki and her talking cat Jiji soaring across the night sky on a flying broom, with the full moon glowing yellow above a coastal town.

If you want to see Kiki’s Delivery Service in yet another different art style, McDonald’s Japan held a collaboration with the popular series back in June 2024 and it featured a series of short animations.

The new Kiki’s Delivery Service novel series with covers drawn by Spy x Family author Tatsuya Endo will release in Japan on February 3, 2025. The novel was adapted into an anime film by Studio Ghibli in 1989, and it is now available streaming on Netflix.
