Key also formally opened the Japanese official website for Anemoi by adding new details about the visual novel story synopsis and main heroines. The player will assume the role of the story’s protagonist Mugi Hayakawa, who is making his return to Masumi Town in northern Japan to open a time capsule he placed there ten years ago. He is also accompanied by his younger sister Rikka, who is the second girl from the right in the key visual.

The visual novel’s central heroine, who also appeared in the first teaser in mid-November 2023, will be known as Spica Tsujikura. However, she will not be the only heroine the player can grow a relationship with. The other three heroines besides Rikka and Spica—from left to right—will be Aino Fusaba, Koyomi Shirato, and Hiiro Awayuki.

Several staff members who had worked on prior Key visual novels like Air, Clannad, and Little Busters will return here. The staff list includes the scenario writer Kai, the illustrator Na-Ga, and the composer Shinji Orito.

Anemoi will be available in 2025. Key will announce the platforms for the new visual novel at a later time.
