Level-5 president and CEO Akihiro Hino teased on Twitter that the company may have an Inazuma Eleven announcement to make at this year’s Level-5 Vision event.
Here’s what Hino shared:
“Again, heading into Level-5 Vision 2016 we have all kinds of work for new anime and video game titles. Look forward to it! We’d like to have as many people possible come to check it out. And of course, that new title will be there. I… (might be too soon to say it lol)”
While this doesn’t confirm that he’s talking about Inazuma Eleven, after mentioning a new title he follows up with the letter “I” before stopping himself. The letter used in the message is the katakana symbol イ, which happens to be the first letter of イナズマイレブン (Inazuma Eleven).
Last year Level-5 had a bunch of cool announcements at their Level-5 Vision 2015, where we got to see the company reveal Snack World. They also previously teased that they’ll announce a sequel to a “very popular series” in 2016, so Inazuma Eleven could very likely be it.
The company has yet to announce when this year’s Level-5 Vision will take place, but with Hino’s recent tweet in mind, it probably won’t be long until we hear some kind of announcement.
