The next new Hiro Mashima anime series will be an adaptation of the recently released Marvelous game Farmagia. The series is set to release in Japan on January 10, 2025, and Marvelous just released a reveal trailer alongside a key visual art. [Thanks, Comic Natalie!]
Marvelous also revealed the staff members for the new anime series. Shinji Ishihira will act as the general director for the Farmagia anime, with Akihiko Sano being the director. Studio Bridge will be involved in the animation as well. Ishihira previously directed the anime adaptations for the Hiro Mashima series Fairy Tail and Edens Zero, as well as the Log Horizon anim. Sano and studio Bridge also have been involved in Fairy Tail development.
It was also revealed that the Japanese voice cast for the game will reprise their roles in the anime series as well. The opening theme song for the new anime is “Life is Beautiful” and will be performed by Asian Kung-Fu Generation, with the ending song titled “miss-dystopia” and is performed by band Sokoninaru. Hiro Mashima was in charge of the character designs for the original Farmagia game, and will return for the upcoming series.

Farmagia is readily available for the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC. Meanwhile, the Farmagia anime adaptation will start airing in Japan on January 10, 2025.
