Eastasiasoft announced it picked up another Switch otome game, and this time it’s releasing the Hakuoki Shinkai: Tenun no Shou fan disc worldwide as Hakuoki Memoirs: Drifting Clouds. That first appeared in Japan in October 2022 and is a short story collection set during the Kyoto period of the storyline. It will launch in Q1 2027 and be available digitally and physically for $49.99, though only 2,000 physical limited editions will be sold at PlayAsia for $69.99.

As this is a fan disc, it features established routes with different characters from the series. The official screenshots on EastAsiaSoft’s site confirmed Chikage Kazama, Hachirou Iba, Hajime Saitou, Heisuke Toudou, Kazue Souma, Keisuke Sannan, Ryouma Sakamoto, Sanosuke Harada, Shinpachi Nagakura, Souji Okita, Susumu Yamazaki, and Toushizou Hijikata routes and segments.

As for the limited edition at PlayAsia, it includes a physical copy of the game and a number of extras. Some of them are expected items, such as an art book, a drama CD, and an instruction manual. However, it also comes with acrylic standees, a poster with game art, and stickers to apply to Switch Joy-Cons based on the game.

Here’s how that looks:

EastAsiaSoft’s last release in the series was Hakuoki SSL: Sweet School Life. That’s the alternate universe game set in a high school, with all the characters serving as students and teachers.

Hakuoki Memoirs: Drifting Clouds will come to the Switch outside Japan in Q1 2027, and the otome game already appeared in Japan as Hakuoki Shinkai: Tenun no Shou.
