Bandai Namco shared new details for New Gundam Breaker with information on its “Inner Frame” and “Awakening” systems as well as the addition of three Mobile Suits from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

In New Gundam Breaker, you’ll first select an “Inner-Frame” and then you’ll pick parts that you like to make your own Gunpla. There are five different kinds of Inner-Frames and each one has its own Frame EX Skills. The five Inner-Frames are: “Balance,” “Striker,” “Gunner,” “Enchant,” and “Search.” We’ll learn more about those in the near future.

As for the newly announced Mobile Suits, they’re three from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans in Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex, Gundam Bael, and Gundam Kimaris Vidar.

In New Gundam Breaker’s Real-Time Customization Battles, since you can build on the go, steal parts and get parts stolen, you might end a battle with a completely different kind of Gunpla from what you started with. Using the “Awakening” system you can go back to the build you originally created and have a status increase on top of it.

It still remains unknown what exactly happens with the parts you steal and the parts that enemies stole from you after the battle, but we’re guessing Bandai Namco will have plenty more to share on that later.

New Gundam Breaker releases for PlayStation 4 in 2018. You can check out the game’s latest screenshots here and trailer here.
