New Genshin Impact Emojis Ring in the New Year

There’s another way to decorate (virtually) for the holidays. miHoYo announced a new round of Genshin Impact emojis from the artist Soreko. There are 16 new designs to choose from, with all of them honoring Christmas, New Year’s, and the general winter holiday season.

Here’s the official tweet announcing Soreko’s latest designs and offering a link to the Genshin Impact emojis. You have both Albedo and Ganyu, the two latest five-stars, in Christmas-y outfits and with omochi rice cakes for New Year’s, to start. Xingqiu is singing carols and preparing fai chun, while Qiqi is wearing a cute hat and receiving a red envelope. (Even though she’s a zombie that’s hundreds of years old, she is still technically a child.) Chongyun is ringing festive bells and being attacked by a dragon. Childe is the bearer of red envelopes and is dressed as Santa, just like Albedo. Zhongli has some wine and prepared a kite, while Xinyan is ready to rock in the holidays with music and a cake.

This isn’t the first time Soreko Genshin Impact emojis were shared. One of the last batches appeared back in September 2020 and were added to the official Discord and forums. Back then, Soreko’s designs offered people a chance to use characters like Beidou, Chongyun, Ningguang, Qiqi, Xiangling, Xingqiu, and Xinyan to represent themselves.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, Android devices, and Apple iOS devices. A Nintendo Switch version is in development.
