Square Enix released a new optional clothing option in the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store. However, it might look a little familiar. People can now buy a FFXIV Iceheart’s Attire for $12, which resembles a dyed version of the Direwolf Robe of Casting.
When someone gets Iceheart’s Attire, they get four items. These are the Iceheart Robe, Iceheart Armlets, Iceheart Bottoms, and Iceheart Thighboots. The goal is to look like Ysayle, heretic of the Holy See, and the outfit isn’t locked to a specific race or gender.
Here’s a closer look at it:
Since this is an optional, paid clothing item, the FFXIV Iceheart’s Attire doesn’t have the same restrictions as the Direwolf Robe of Casting. That in-game item can only be worn by caster characters who fall into magical DPS classes like Arcanist, Black Mage, Blue Mage, Red Mage, Thaumaturge, and Summoner.
If someone is looking to get the Direwolf Robe of Casting, you will need Wolf Marks earned from PVP activities like Crystalline Conflict. If you visit the Mark Quartermaster at Wolves’ Den Pier (X:4.5, Y:6.0) when you have 1,000 Wolf Marks, you can get it.
Square Enix often releases extra clothing like this in the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store. Some past items include Educand’s Attire or Alisaie’s Attire.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, and the Iceheart’s Attire is in the Online Store now.
