Square Enix teased the upcoming FFXIV Echoes of Vana’diel Alliance Raid by sharing a new piece of key artwork for the expansion. The new Alliance Raid is planned to be a crossover with Final Fantasy XI, the first MMORPG from the franchise.
The new key art depicts the Dynamis Lord, the main villain from FFXI, as the revived form of the Shadow Lord. The character is standing with a sword in his right hand, resting on his shoulder, and his left hand raised while glowing purple and white. The background of the art is black and red, with fiery glyphs in the sky.
