New Fate/Samurai Remnant Trailer Showed Off Servants and Masters

Koei Tecmo released a new trailer for the upcoming Fate/Samurai Remnant that features many of the Servants and Masters set to take part in the Waxing Moon Ritual. We can also see a few more details about the recently revealed Cu Chulainn, Tamamo Aria, Zheng Chenggong, and Archer servants.

The trailer begins by showing protagonist Miyamoto Iori musing on his motivations, as well as arguing with as-yet unnamed Saber class Servant. We’re then shown snapshots of several of the other Master and Servant pairs, like Takao Dayu and Miyamoto Musashi or the Ming strategist Zheng Chenggong and his loyal Archer. We also get a look at some of the “rogue servants” who will appear: Cu Chulainn, Tamamo Aria, Arjuna, and the unnamed Rogue Saber.

As the tension ratchets up, we see a strange multi-eyed beast, a colossal hoof, and Saber unleashing an attack that could be his Noble Phantasm. The trailer closes out with a look at Miyamoto Iori in action and his request that Saber “destroy the wish,” which may remind some fans of the finale of Fate/Zero. There is another small teaser after the splash screen however, as we see a haughty character clad in gold greet our protagonists with a voice that sounds very much like Tomokazu Seki. It appears that fan-favorite Servant Gilgamesh may be making an appearance in the game as well.

A preview build of the game was playable at Anime Expo 2023. Dogs and Cats have been confirmed as pettable and pre-orders of the game can pick up a snazzy bonus outfit for Musashi herself.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is scheduled for release on September 29, 2023, for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
