New Evangelion Game For PS3 Will Disappoint Because It’s A Slot Machine Sim

Soon, Evangelion fans won’t have to haunt pachinko parlors to see video clips from the Evangelion: Pulse of Life slot machine. It’s coming to PlayStation 3 on September 6 as Gekiatsu!! Pachigame Soul MAX Evangelion 7 X Pulse of Life, which also includes a console version of Evangelion 7. Both titles will be packed on one Blu-ray disc for 7,329 yen ($92).

On the plus side the Evangelion license isn’t dormant, but it would be nice to have something for consoles that isn’t a pachislot port.
