New Evangelion 3.0+1.0 US Release Teaser Shared

As part of Comic Con@Home 2021, Amazon shared a new teaser ahead of the Evangelion 3.0+1.0 US release on Amazon Prime. The new clip helps set the stage for the fourth and final Rebuild of Evangelion movie. As the opening credits play, people get to see some of the world. They also get to see some of the more famous characters in the series.

Here’s the full over two minute clip. Keep in mind that if you haven’t been following the Rebuild of Evangelion series, there are spoilers for both how characters look and the world. First, people get to see Mari Makinami Illustrious. Then, we get to see Asuka Shikinami Langley, Rei Ayanami, and Shinji Ikari. The tweet also reminds people that the Evangelion 3.0+1.0 US Amazon Prime release falls in August 2021.

The initial announcement involved a shorter trailer. It was about a one and a half minute clip featuring “One Last Kiss,” the new song from Hikaru Utada made for the film.

The Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time US release is set for August 13, 2021 on Amazon Prime. The other three films in the Rebuild of Evangelion series will also appear on the streaming service.
