New Disgaea 6 Trailer Focuses on Super Reincarnation and Gameplay

Nippon Ichi Software released a new trailer for Disgaea 6 that covers gameplay systems and the new Super Reincarnation feature. The protagonist Zed isn’t the strongest main character, but he certainly has the potential to become the absolute strongest.

The zombie dog Cerberus, who has genius-level intellect, appears in the trailer to teach us about the game systems. It starts with a look at the basics, such as character placement and combos. It also shows us other prominent features from the series,like as lifting and throwing in battle and the Dark Assembly.

We get a look at systems new to Disgaea 6 starting at the 2:45 mark in the video. First is the Super Reincarnation system. The zombie protagonist Zed has this unique ability. This allows him to die and be reborn at level one, but with increased base stats for each reincarnation. The goal in Disgaea 6 is to Super Reincarnating as much as possible until Zed gains tremendous powers.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny will release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on January 28, 2021. The game will release for the Switch in the West in Summer 2021.
