New Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc Trailer Confirms 2025 Debut

Jump Festa 2025 meant an update on Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, and we have a release window and new trailer. The film will show up in Japan in 2025, though there’s no exact release date currently. It was first revealed in December 2023. There’s also no word yet on a new season of the anime, though the 12 episodes of season 1 are on Crunchyroll now.

The new Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc trailer is available on Mappa’s YouTube channel now. English subtitles are available, if you turn on closed captions. The video begins with Denji and Reze having coffee together while she asks if he’d prefer a city mouse or country mouse. After that, we see Makima asking him on a date. However, after the 47 mark, the teaser shifts between showing his two love interests to a look at a new threat facing the Public Safety Division.

There are also two new key visuals for the movie that appeared at Jump Festa 2025. One of them features Denji as Chainsaw Man, transformed and in the midst of attacking. 

As of right now, the Chainsaw Man manga is in the midst of the Academy Saga Current Arc. It’s currently on a short break following the release of chapter 187 on December 17, 2024. The next new installment will appear on December 31, 2024 worldwide, with MangaPlus and Viz Media offering it outside of Japan

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will debut in 2025. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan.
