Netflix’s Pokemon Journeys Are Almost at an End

We now know when all of the currently available Netflix Pokemon Journeys: The Series episodes will appear. The last round will show up on March 5, 2021. This should bring people up to episode 48. As this series is ongoing in Japan, people will have to wait to see what happens with episodes after 49.

The episodes have been released in batches on Netflix. Part 1 included the first 12, for example. Then, Part 2 in September 2020 and Part 3 in December 2020 got us up to episode 36 of Pokemon Journeys: The Series. While The Pokemon Company International and Netflix’s announcement referred to Part 4 as the final batch, episode 54 aired in Japan on February 5, 2021.

As a reminder, Pokemon Journeys: The Series is the latest entry. It follows Ash and Goh as they act as researchers for Professor Cerise to learn about every possible Pokemon. It also introduces characters, locations, and mechanics from Pokemon Sword and Shield to the anime for the first time, as the duo ends up heading to Galar. For example, Scorbunny shows up fairly early on.

Pokemon Journeys: The Series episodes 37-48 will appear on Netflix on March 5, 2021. Episodes 1-36 are immediately available. People can see the first episode in this particular series online for free.
