People fans will now be able to get their hands on additional volumes of the Groundwork of Evangelion, this time being the Groundwork of Evangelion The Movie art books. Both volumes will be able to purchase through digital retailers like Amazon Japan. Additionally, over thirty pages of full color illustration have been added to these digital re-releases. The Neon Genesis Evangelion Groundwork of Evangelion The Movie Vol. 1 comes in at a total of 400 pages, while Vol. 2 has a total of 388 pages. This includes the thirty additional colored illustrations that have been bundled with each volume. Vol. 1 will contain artworks from the Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth film while Vol. 2 will have artwork from The End of Evangelion. You can look through pages of each art book below.

The latest Neon Genesis Evangelion film was slated to release on June 27, 2020 but has since been delayed due to concerns regarding COVID-19. A new release date has yet to be set.

Neon Genesis Evangelion originally began its run in Japan in October 1995. Evangelion: Death (True)2, the edit of 1997’s Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, appeared in 1998. The End of Evangelion appeared in 1997. The Rebuild of Evangelion films, which offer a different take on the story, began airing in Japan in 2007 with Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance and Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo appeared in 2009 and 2012.
