We first learned that this Nendoroid was happening back in May 2024. At the time, there was no concept art or prototype yet. Unlike many Nendoroids, it uses a system that doesn’t involve typical face plates. You get eyes that are wide open in shock, neutral ones, and more menacing ones. The three mouth parts are stoic, smiling, and smiling with teeth showing. These can be combined in different ways in the face plate for more customizable expressions.

In addition, other elements are designed to aid in customization. The legs can be positioned to have Garfield standing or sitting. A second tail part is included for different poses. He also comes with a TV remote, lasagna, and a coffee cup he can all hold.

The Garfield Nendoroid will appear in Japan in September 2025, and it could take until January 2026 to appear worldwide. Pre-orders are open until February 12, 2025.
