Nendoroid Doll Mermaid Set Will Have Three Color Variations

Good Smile Company has opened up pre-orders for a Nendoroid Doll mermaid set with an attachable tail. There are three colors that you can choose from, and each mermaid tail costs 2800 JPY/$17.99.

The set will come out in July 2024 for Japan and Q4 2024 for North America. The three tail colors available for the Nendoroid Doll mermaid set are Sakura, Lavandula, and Green Fluorite.

You can attach the tails to dolls of any gender, but they’re incompatible with the clothing for Nendoroid Dolls that Good Smile Company sells. This is likely because the tail reaches to the mid-abdomen of the Nendoroid Doll, which can make it difficult for you to fit a shirt or dress over it.

Nendoroid Dolls are a variation of the classic Nendoroid figure from Good Smile Company. While the head part is the same, the body part is larger and has more ball joints so that you can dress them up. Since the headpiece is the same as an ordinary Nendoroid, you can theoretically purchase a single Nendoroid Doll for its body and swap the heads around if you want to change up your display.

Some Nendoroid Dolls that Good Smile Company released in the past include ones of Hatsune Miku, Persona 5’s Joker, and Demon Slayer’s Tanjiro (Final Selection version).

The Nendoroid Doll mermaid set is available for pre-order from Good Smile Company until November 23, 2023.
