Natsume Yujincho x Sanrio Collaboration Features Hello Kitty

To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the popular anime Natsume Yujincho, also known as Natsume’s Book of Friends, there will be a Sanrio crossover. This collection will feature popular Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty and Natsume Yujincho’s very own Nyanko-sensei. More information about the collaboration will be released at a later date.

By utilizing the theme of sweets in this collaboration with Sanrio, Nyanko-sensei can be seen enjoying a number of adorable moments with Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Cinnamonroll, Kuromi, and My Melody. While none of the merchandise has been revealed for the Natsume Yujincho x Sanrio collaboration as of yet, some of the designs can be seen below.

Hello Kitty floats in a traditional bowl of oshiruko as Nyanko-sensei relaxes. Nyanko-sensei, who loves all sorts of sweets, sits in a dish of pudding with Pompompurin. Cinnamonroll is resting comfortably inside a bed of kashiwamochi with Nyanko-sensei taking a nap. Kuromi pops out of a taiyaki as Nyanko-sensei prepares to strike and take a bite. My Melody and Nyanko-sensei are looking adorable inside of a glass filled with strawberry parfait.

Sanrio is no stranger to collaborations as they are currently collaborating with the artist Eku Uekura for a line of merchandise, and are also collaborating with Vocaloid idol Hatsune Miku.
