Now that the crossover is officially revealed, we also know more about who is behind Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto and how many issues of this TMNT spin-off will appear. There will be four issues total, though there is no release schedule for the second, third, or fourth comics. We already knew Jorge Jimenez did the cover from the initial leak. It’s now confirmed Hendry Prasetya did too, as well as provided the art for the comics themselves. The whole series is written by Caleb Goellner.

The initial reveal also confirmed more of the crossover characters who will appear in the Naruto TMNT miniseries. In addition to Naruto, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, the announcement confirmed Kakashi, Sakura, Sasuke, Tsunade, and April. The impetus for the whole series will involve April meeting with Tsunade, and the Foot Clan getting involved. As a result, the turtles and ninjas will need to come together to potentially fight a common enemy.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto issue 1 release date is November 13, 2024. The Naruto and Borutoanime are on Crunchyroll. Viz Media handles the manga. IDW handles TMNT.
