Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations has over 65 minutes of animation from Studio Pierrot in the game’s story mode and some of it was created just for the video game. In addition to covering Naruto’s saga, Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations will have Sasuke’s story, Kakashi’s story, and Itachi’s story to play through.
CyberConnect2 tweaked the Storm fighting system and added cancel moves. You can use these by pressing triangle to draw chakra then the jump button. This technique depletes some of your chakra gauge, but allows you to extend a combo with more attacks or an ougi. Canceling should allow players to make custom combos.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations also has a replacement technique gauge. Each time you turn into a log to avoid an attack this meter loses a bit of energy.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations comes out on March 13 in North America. Japan will get the game a few weeks earlier on February 23.
