How do you unlock Skins and items in My Hero Ultra Rumble?

Most customization items in My Hero Ultra Rumble are obtained through either the Plus Ultra Roll feature or are purchased through Gold Coins. The Plus Ultra Roll can be used with Roll Tickets and gives you random items. Thankfully, there are various ways to obtain Roll Tickets in the game, such as completing missions or purchasing them with Hero Crystals. The latter is the game’s premium currency, which can be bought with real-life money. Gold Coins can similarly be obtained by just playing the game or completing missions.

What do Skins do in My Hero Ultra Rumble?

Skins are purely cosmetic items you can use to change the way your character looks in My Hero Ultra Rumble. Although they do not have any impact on your character’s stats, they do help your character stand out from the rest of the players while in battle. While there is only a limited amount of Skins available during launch, the cosmetic feature allows you to transform your favorite My Hero Academia characters into your own unique fighter.

How do Auras work in My Hero Ultra Rumble?

In addition to the base Skins in My Hero Ultra Rumble, players can also add Auras to their characters with the right cosmetic items equipped. Auras are glowing energies that surround your hero to add to their epic presence. To unlock Auras is My Hero Ultra Rumble, you need to roll a skin or chroma that you already own. So, although it might be disappointing at first to get a duplicate item, you at least get a chance to score an Aura to make your character look even more formidable.

What are Voice Lines and Emotes in My Hero Ultra Rumble? 

Voice Lines and Emotes are both similar in their function. Players assign them to hotkeys and can then use them during battle to signal to other players or express themselves. However, the feature is mostly unique to each hero. So certain dialogue lines will be locked to a character and can’t be mixed and matched. If you want to show off a little during battle, popping an emote at the right time can make your character throw out lines to taunt other players.

What are Emblems in My Hero Ultra Rumble?

While not as significant to your character’s presentation in the game as other cosmetic items, your Emblem is still a nice way to set yourself apart from other players. In My Hero Ultra Rumble, Emblems are added to your banner to show off your achievements to other players. Unlike the other items mentioned in this guide, Emblems are only earned through passing certain milestones, such as owning a certain number of heroes or dealing a total amount of damage with a character. Even though it’s not as flashy as Skins, Emblems allow you to show off both your style and your in-game achievements.
