My Hero One’s Justice 2 English Voices Released

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

A big change appeared for the latest My Hero Academia-inspired fighter, and it happened out of nowhere. There are now My Hero One’s Justice 2 English voices available as an option in the Options menu. Bandai Namco bundled the feature into the latest patch on all platforms with no advance notice. So anyone who owns the game and updates it as of June 10, 2020 will be able to choose between the original Japanese or English dub. [Thanks, Resetera!]

Multiple My Hero Academia voice actors have been tweeting about the My Hero One’s Justice 2 English voices this morning and the surprise. For example, Clifford “Katsuki Bakugo” Chapin shared a clip of his character in-game with the English dub turned on.

We also have Christopher “All Might” Sabat bringing it up, though his tweet didn’t include a clip.

Kellen “Overhaul” Goff also confirmed the recording, pointing out his lines were recorded while he was in Texas.

And Kyle “Denki” Phillips was actually streaming the game on Twitch on June 10, 2020 to celebrate and show off the My Hero One’s Justice 2 English voices. (Goff was there as well.)

As a reminder, this isn’t just My Hero One’s Justice 2 English voices day. It also looks like it is Hawks’ day. Support for DLC characters was added in the patch.

My Hero One’s Justice 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
