Toho Animation released a new trailer revealing the release date and title of the new My Hero Academia: You’re Next anime movie. The movie will premiere in Japan on August 2, 2024.
The plot of the movie will focus on professional hero All Might, the students at U.A. High School, and an as-of-yet unknown character who seems to be obsessed with the aforementioned hero. The trailer teased that the character will adopt All Might’s identity, albeit in a villainous capacity.
The key visual for the new My Hero Academia anime movie features protagonists Deku, Bakugo, Ochako, Todoroki, and Iida facing off against this villainous version of All Might. The fourth My Hero Academia anime movie was initially announced in August 2023, alongside the reveal of its first key visual teasing the title of the movie. Season 7 of the anime series was recently announced to be in production, and a teaser trailer for the new season was released.
