Soon, all of the Muv-Luv Kickstarter promises will be fulfilled. Back when the crowdfunding campaign for the visual novel series was running, the spin-off Muv-Luv Photonmelodies was one of the last stretch goals. (It needed to clear $720,000 for that to happen.) It did, and now on July 30, 2020, that game will be released in English. It will cost $29.99.

Muv-Luv Photonmelodies is essentially a “reward” for both Takeru, the series’ lead character, and players who stuck with Muv-Luv after all these years. It follows the character as he finally gets a chance to spend time with different heroines in Japan. There are also the supplemental Adoration and Resurrection stories included, which respectively look at the BETA fight in Europe and a spy in Japan.

Here’s a trailer released to help celebrate Muv-Luv Photonmelodies’ English debut.

The other Muv-Luv spin-off that was a part of the same stretch goal tier as the Muv-Luv Photonmelodies English localization, Muv-Luv Photonflowers, has been available since August 2019.

Muv-Luv Photonmelodies will come to PCs in English on July 30, 2020. People can immediately jump into Muv-Luv, Muv-Luv Alternative, and Muv-Luv Photonflowers on PCs. In Japan, the series has also ended up appearing on platforms like the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox 360.
