Mutant Mudds Deluxe Headed To Wii U With 20 New Ghost Levels

Mutant Mudds Deluxe, an HD version of Mutant Mudds, is headed to the Wii U Nintendo eShop this June, developer Renegade Kid have announced.

Exclusive to Mutant Mudds Deluxe are 20 new “ghost” levels that are located in a mysterious parallel world beyond the phantom mirror. Unlocking new levels in the normal world also unlocks their counterparts in the ghost world, and each one has new spectral enemies and power-ups.

That makes for 80 levels in total. The original 40 levels from the Nintendo 3DS version, the 20 Grannie levels from the PC version (which were later added to 3DS), and the 20 new Ghost levels.

“Having the opportunity to bring Mutant Mudds to Wii U is very special to us,” said Jools Watsham, Owner and Director at Renegade Kid. “I am particularly excited about the new ghost levels we added, which offer a new gameplay experience thanks to the mischievous ghost mudds who cannot be shot with Max’s regular water cannon!”

Mutant Mudds Deluxe will be available on June 13th in North America. Renegade Kid are currently working on getting the game prepared for Europe as well.
