After appearing on rating boards around the world Namco Bandai officially announced Mr. Driller Online as an Xbox Live Arcade game. Up to four players can meet in a solo battle or in team battle (two teams of two). In addition to multiplayer modes Mr. Driller Online has standard driller and quest mode for less social drillers.

Details are still rather sparse, but we should hear more about Mr. Driller Online soon since it comes out this spring. I mentioned before Namco Bandai has a Korean PC game with the same name. I wonder how much Mr. Driller Online has been adjusted from its (probable) source material.
