A second wave of controller button fidget toys will appear in gachapon machines in Nintendo stores in Japan. You’ll be able to find them in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, as well as in the Narita airport.
Six of the twelve variations available are new. These ones will feature controller buttons, complete with ones of the analog sticks. You’ll be able to get fidget toy keychains of the SNES, N64, and GC controller parts. There are even miniature ABXY letters on the fidget toys, much like how a real controller would look like.
The Kyoto branch of the Nintendo store had its grand opening in October 2023 and is the newest of the three locations. In July 2024, Nintendo announced that it would sell some exclusive ties at this particular store. These ties look fashionable and are made with high-quality fabric, but have designs of famous Nintendo characters and logos on them.
While the gachapon machines are available in the various stores, you’ll need to look for the Nintendo Check In Booth in Narita airport. It’s precisely because of this check-in booth that other airports, like Haneda, will not offer these gacha machines.
The Nintendo fidget toys that resemble controllers and consoles are available in Nintendo stores around Japan, as well at Narita airport.
