As part of an update on what people will see in the 1.5 update for Honkai: Star Rail, HoYoVerse brought up the new character voice lines and an Astral Express Guest Book. Both will be immediately available once someone downloads and applies the patch.
With the Astral Express Guest Book, it will basically be a means of checking Companion Mission rewards in Honkai: Star Rail. There will be profiles for each character who could now appear because their missions were finished. In the case of certain characters, it will also let someone know if they won’t be showing up on the Trailblazer’s train for a time due to events in the story. The announcement teased a specific person who will be absent as a result of recent Trailblaze Mission events.
As for the new Honkai: Star Rail character voice lines, they are all ones that involve certain triggers and offer extra context for relationships between people and reactions to certain things. A screenshot with March 7th appeared for context in the announcement. So after the update, she’ll make a specific remark when she’s added to the same team as Dan Heng, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, Himeko, or a mystery character whose name was blurred in the image. The announcement also noted opening treasure chests or doing things like unlocking a certain Eidolon or Trace could also unlock new lines in the settings.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 1.5 update will arrive on November 15, 2023.
