Talking to your fellow soldiers and getting to know them will be just as important as how you fight with them in Long Gone Days, the modern military RPG where a deserter works with soldiers from around the world to stop a war.

Morale is an important factor in combat. High morale means better criticals and evasion, while low morale lowers the chances of both of those things. If it gets low enough, party members may become unresponsive.

By choosing the correct dialogue options, players can keep morale high. Knowing the right thing to say will involve getting to know each character individually, so players will have to pay attention to what is said in the game’s visual novel-like story sequences.
