Another indie game has been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch. Moonlighter, an action-RPG with roguelike and shopkeeping simulation elements, will be coming to the console. As you may recall, it was Digital Sun Games’ Kickstarter success story that raised $134,276 from 5,229 people back in 2016. PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of the game were already confirmed.

In Moonlighter, players follow a young man named Will. He runs Rynoka Village’s shop. However, he always wanted to be a hero, like some of the people who come and buy from him. This leads to a Recettear-like situation. Will needs to venture into nearby dungeons accessed by traveling through dimension-spanning Gates to acquire inventory. So gameplay involves heading into these other realms to explore dungeons and get inventory, crafting items from some materials as needed, putting products up for sale in the shop, hiring assistants to run it while you’re out, checking with customers to see what they need, and then heading out into more dungeons so you can repeat the process.

A release date for Moonlighter has yet to be announced. However, the Steam product page says early 2018.
