You can now pre-order and pre-load Moon for the Nintendo Switch. The official Onion Games Twitter account shared this announcement, letting those who are eagerly anticipating this title know that they can now purchase the title before it officially releases worldwide on August 27, 2020. The Nintendo eShop product page is open.
Originally released on the PlayStation in 1997 in Japan, Western audiences will now have their first opportunity to play this role-playing game themselves for the first time in English. In Moon, you play as a young boy who has been sucked into the world of the game he was playing. This game featured unique gameplay mechanics, like raising affinity with characters you interact with within the world.Â
The worldwide release for Moon was delayed in December 2019, but will finally see its debut in just a few days. Those eagerly awaiting the re-release of this classic RPG will finally be able to get their hands on it.
The Moon Switch port will arrive on the eShop outside of Japan on August 27, 2020. Its official website is now open. Moon is immediately available in Japan on both the PlayStation and Switch.
