The Moomin Nendoroid costs 3900 JPY if you’re in Japan and it’ll come out some time in February 2025. Meanwhile, those in North America have to pay $23.99 for it, and they can expect the Nendoroid to come out in Q3 2025. As a reminder, due to licensing restrictions, Good Smile Company can only ship to Canada and the United States.

The Moomin Nendoroid comes with two face plates: a standard expression and an angry one. It will also have a shell for an optional part. While the website states that there will be other parts, none of the pictures depict Moomin with anything other than a shell. There are various hand parts though, which can help you to pose him. The Nendoroid will also come with its own stand. It’s a light green stand with the Moomin logo on it, with white flowers surrounding it.

Moomins are the main characters in the Swedish stories by Tove Jansson, and they are very popular in Japan as well. There is a theme park dedicated to them in Saitama. As well, there are lots of merchandise featuring the franchise’s characters.

The Moomin Nendoroid is open for pre-order via Good Smile Company until September 18, 2024.
