Monster Strike Will Summon On 3DS In Japan On December 17

Monster Strike is currently one of Japan’s most popular smartphone games, and it’s getting turned into a full-fledged 3DS title with tons of extra content. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine reports that it will release in Japan on December 17th. [Thanks, Hachima.]

 

The genre of Monster Strike for 3DS is RPG, and it is said to be a “a Monster Strike boosted with a sense of adventure.” You’ll go exploring and fight together with the original protagonists of and characters, including a “super next-level” monster called Kagutsuchi.

 

All the monsters have their own cut-ins that weren’t in the original smartphone version fo the game, and the battle system will be different as you’ll be required to hold the 3DS sideways. They are currently working on balances for the game.

 

The monsters will also be depicted in pixel-art fashion, with the reason being so you can see them all clearly. The game will also support stereoscopic 3D. All four main characters will have their own monsters.

 

Monster Strike will release in Japan on December 17, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
