An improved performance option will be coming to Monster Hunter World next week. Nvidia has confirmed that Deep Learning Super Sampling will come to the game on June 17, 2019. The update will allow people with GeForce RTX 20-Series cards to play the game in 4K with higher frame rates.
To take advantage of the update, people will need to use the Nvidia Game Read Driver to update their GeForce RTX GPU. Then, they will have to download the free 8GB High Resolution Texture Pack. After the July 17, 2019 update is released, they can then turn on Nvidia DLSS in the display section of the options menu when the full screen 2560×1440 or 3840×2160 resolution is set to take advantage of the update and its higher frame rates.
In addition to the compatibility, another display option will be added for Monster Hunter World will come with this update. A sharpness slider will be added. This will allow people to adjust the clarity of the images in the PC version.
Monster Hunter World is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2019. It’ll arrive on PCs in Winter 2019.
