Another game event is on the way. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be graced with the Full Bloom Fest in April 2020. Players will be able to reap a variety of rewards by participating in event related quests. This includes new seasonal layered armor for yourself, your palico, and your poogie. As always, the gathering hub will be decorated to reflect this event. This event will begin on April 9, 2020 and end on May 7, 2020. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
In order to participate in this event players must own the Iceborne expansion. This Full Bloom Fest is unfortunately locked to it. As mentioned above, players can net themselves new seasonal layered armors, charms and more. Cosmetic items from previous events will be returning as well. These include the Whetfish Dual Blades. Additionally, an adjustment has been made so players can now farm event materials with more ease.
There will be paid DLC accompanying the Full Bloom Fest. If players want to dress the handler up to suit the occasion, they can do so by purchasing an outfit for her with real money.
Recently, the developers of Monster Hunter: World revealed more information about upcoming events. This included the reveal of “fan favorite” monster Alatreon. Additional upcoming updates include a Master Rank Kulve Taroth slaying quest, layered weapons, and more. The Guiding Lands will also be receiving an item that will allow players to instantly kick unwanted monsters from the map.
Monster Hunter World and its expansion, Iceborne, are available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Monster Hunter: World is currently free to download for all PlayStation Plus users until April 21, 2020.
