The full version 13.50 Monster Hunter World: Iceborne update noteshave been released, and it includes previously-announced upcoming monsters like the Master Rank version of Kulve Taroth, Arch-Tempered Namielle, and some other welcome changes. Master Rank Kulve Taroth is available beginning April 22, 2020 via a limited-time event quest, while Arch-Tempered Namielle is set to be available next week.
In preparation for the return of Kulve Taroth, Appraisal weapons have been made easier to obtain from its siege, addressing issues players have had previously. Incandescent Weapons produce higher rarity weapons more easily, and two new charms (Attack Charm V and Evasion Charm V) have been added.
Meanwhile, new system updates include a new function to the Elder Melder where you can now create Appraisal weapons (essentially the “weapon lottery” of weapons you gain after beating sieges like Kulve Taroth and more), and the ability to upgrade Appraisal weapons at the Smithy. As for other miscellaneous changes in this Monster Hunter World: Iceborne update, new pendants have been added, with two that are free (Golden Kulve Pendant, Arch-Tempered Namielle Shard) and two that are paid (Topaz Kulve Heart and Emerald Kulve Heart). A new Obtained Item Placement option has also been added to the options.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The game recently hit a new milestone of 5 million units in worldwide shipments and digital sales.
