Monster Hunter: World Latest Developer Diary Teases “Fan Favorite” Monster Alatreon

Monster Hunter: World‘s latest developer diary will be teasing a “fan favorite” monster during the latest broadcast. This broadcast covered a variety of topics, which we’ll get to, but most important Alatreon will be arriving in a Monster Hunter: World update. This legendary dragon will be making its debut in May 2020 as part of the scheduled Title Update. You can check out the official trailer for this monster below.

Additional updates include a Master Rank Kulve Taroth slaying quest, more room content, and new dress armors. Players will finally be able to change the appearance of their weapons. Layers weapons will be arriving in Monster Hunter: World some time in April.  The Guiding Lands will also be receiving an item that will allow players to instantly kick unwanted monsters from the map.

Monster Hunter: World Title Update Road Map

Most recently the Furious Rajang and Raging Brachydios are also on the way as part of a series of free updates. The console version of Monster Hunter: World will be receiving these variants on March 23, 2020. Capcom released a road map for future updates in January 2020. Since the implementation of this road map, more than a handful of free monster and content have been added to the smash hit title. Capcom plans to release free, new content for Monster Hunter: World until June 2020 and later.

Monster Hunter World and its expansion, Iceborne, are available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Monster Hunter: World is currently free to download for all PlayStation Plus users until April 21, 2020.
