Monster Hunter Rise Wirebug Can Be Used for Traveling and Attacking

A Monster Hunter Direct immediately followed the September 2020 Nintendo Direct Mini. One of the first things it talked about is the Monster Hunter Rise Wirebug.

This is a creature that people can take with them when they head out on hunts. The primary use, and one we saw most in early footage, is using it as a grappling hook. People can use it to help reach new heights and scale cliffs.

However, it can also be used for attacks. The Monster Hunter Direct showed how it will be used to do leaping attacks against foes.

Monster Hunter Rise will come to the Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2020.
